IASME will be taking over full responsibility for Cyber Essentials from April 1st 2020.
Alongside this there will be some changes around how Cyber Essentials operates:
- a new streamlined certification process
- the introduction of a minimum criteria for Certification Bodies and Cyber Essentials assessors
- the introduction of an enforced expiry date on CE certificates
The NCSC has confirmed that certification through IASME and the 4 other accreditation bodies will continue as normal until the end of March.
